About Past Glass

Bringing memories back to life.

Keeping loved ones memories alive.

The passing of a family member or friend is one of the hardest experiences to face. The healing process can be a long road. Therefore, an important part of that road is finding a way to create a lasting presence in our lives.

Because of this, Past Glass was created to help family and friends keep departed loved ones closer to their hearts. This service seeks to help keep memories alive while preserving cremated remains in beautiful handmade borosilicate jewelry and marbles.

Each piece is made with love for each individual. The organic nature of the art of glass means each piece is unique and one of a kind. As a result, they are great conversation pieces that will keep memories alive.

About The Artist

Eric Olson has been blowing glass for 8 years. After the death of a close friend and his dog Toby, he wanted to find a way to help keep those memories alive. He started experimenting with ashes in blown glass.

“It has been so rewarding to help people work through their feeling of loss. I am very excited to help you craft a lasting piece to help you remember your loved ones by.”

The process of trapping ashes in glass starts with the ashes. Past Glass will send you a kit to place the remains of your loved in.

Past Glass welcomes any pictures or stories you’d like to share. These help Eric create a piece that is as unique to the individual as possible.
